D22 Update – June 28, 2023

New families have arrived today to district 22. there are eleven in total, six adults and four children. We already had sixteen asylum seekers plus three US citizens. There are thirty people that are staying at the police station. We are searching for air mattresses, yoga matts and bedding. We are distributing our needs assessment sheets to see what the needs are for our new arrivals.

We are planning our Spanish conversation classes on Thursday night at 7PM to help our newest neighbors with their English communications skills.
